Community Guidelines

In our attempt to enable Spaces for Everyone, please refer to the Community Guidelines before signing up:-

For all Online/ Offline/ Hybrid Spaces for the project: Rising and Vibing for Environment

  1. We respect and admire everyone:

We do not ask people to volunteer on a no-cost basis. We always ensure to keep some honorary amount for contributions, regardless of the nature of the funds or resources exchanged - private or public grants, or establish a barter system with compensations/ reimbursements/ social shares through the essentials such as coworking/ workspace needs and other products and services at the disposal.

We do not promote the culture of harassing others or organising or participating in the same. We understand that disagreements are part and parcel of any community. However, we lookout for continuous, repetitive, or/ and severe negative comments or blocking or banning sub-groups/ individuals that can be traced to the harassment of individuals whether from the community or outside the peripheries of the community.

We do not promote hateful speech and conduct: Our community specialists actively monitors the attack on individuals/ groups, including hashtags, etc. to oversee the activities of the members/ staff/ partners/ consultants and condemn any attack based on attributes such as caste, race, ethnic group, gender, sex, religion, age, illness, disability, indigenous/ rural origins or other protected classifications.

We do not promote a culture of violence threatening to harm the sentiments of others. This may include indirect or suggestive threats, as well as sharing private information to threaten someone or pressurize using unethical practices such as hyper-competition, gaslighting, doxing, etc.

We do not prompt the culture of violent extremism: We do not engage in glorifying violent events or encouraging them through mixed arts, including music, culture, and documentaries. We work only to defuse tensions among young individuals wherever we go to unify hyperlocal youth development using the most positive collaborative events. Please note that we may use specialised skills including stunts, treks, and other outdoor/ sports activities and other sub-cultural forms that have in the past shown a track record of high socio-economic impact on the lives of young people.

We strictly do not sexualise or tokenise children and youth in any way: While we do not ban the use of erotic art forms considering them as an integral part of the religio-cultural and pluralistic traditions, we ensure and encourage the content or activities shared or performed are in no way harming the sentiments of any children( minors) or leveraging them for any fundraising activity or any commercial purpose.

We do not make or share explicit content or promote activities relating to discussions, or consultations involving young people and adolescents under the age of 18. Age restrictions are strongly advised to be mentioned by users, partners, community members or any other stakeholder in our ecosystem. We also do not post violent content without proper information about the post and seek user discretion wherever possible.

We do not share sexually explicit or private content with other people without their consent or promote the sharing of non-consensual intimacy ( includes images, video, or audio), sometimes known as revenge pranks.

We do not share content that glorifies or promotes suicide or self-harm, or includes people in extreme negative habits including anorexia, bulimia, and other self-harm acts.  Self-harm threats used as a form of emotional manipulation or other forceful form are also prohibited.

We do not share real media depicting gore, excessive violence, or animal harm, especially with the intention to harass or shock others.

We do not share content that violates anyone's intellectual property or other rights: As much as we care about the technological functionalities and other contractual work we do with our partners, collaborators and more; we also ensure our community members help fair further development of technologies innovated by groups, individuals or startups.

2. We are Honest with Everyone:

All our team members and consultants working with us are updated on the website at all times. We do not endorse any brands or work on ghost affiliates of any type unless mentioned clearly in our public postings. All our legally registered partners/collaborators/ individuals are mentioned on the website and updated on regular basis, depending on the status of the person/ group ( incoming/ outgoing).

We do not share false or unverified information ( also known as misinformation): We constantly track false or misleading content that can lead to risks and serious repercussions in the lives of individuals within or outside the community. We also seek to promote and foster mutual understanding between diverse groups, which may be intergenerational or inter-cultural in nature.

We do not coordinate or participate in malicious mimicry/ mirroring/ impersonation of an individual or an organisation. However, we do encourage social satire, parody and other art and cultural forms confining to our areas of work with and for youth. We ensure that our content shared or promoted is legally binding and in line.

We do not create or promote the creation of insider groups within the community. However, for people interested more in our lines of work, we do encourage creating more working groups with the approval of the board to achieve the common goals of specific sub-communities within participant groups.

We do not engage in activities intended to cause damage or gain unauthorised access to any group, agency, or community whatsoever.
We do not distribute or provide access to opportunities involving gambling, hacking, cracking, or distribution of stolen goods, visits to unregistered/ unverified/ unapproved spaces, pirated documents, or accounts. These include online/ offline cheating/ scamming or other hacks.

3. We safeguard our platform and everyone on it:

We are #LocalEverywhere we go:  Ours is an attempt to the culture that appreciates & supports the local cultural heritage while bolstering urban regeneration based on the local interactions alone, no matter where we are; and ours is an attempt to the culture that is not the next unilateral globalisation; albeit the best practices of culture/s are helpful when in globally standardised frameworks, through a multilateral approach; we strongly emphasise that there is a need to provide ample and unyielding space for the hyperlocal aspirations of participants and partners in the very fabric of our work & convictions, especially in our sector.

We do not use spam, and/ or engage in public manipulation or disrupt other agencies/ organisations/ groups/ individuals’ experiences, in all forms of media. This may include attempts to influence or disrupt conversations using the information technology tools such as bots, fake accounts, multiple accounts of the same person, offline event gatecrashing, or using other forms of automation. It may also include unethically purchasing or selling methods of artificially increasing membership through advertisements or botting or through third-party/ agency involvement.

We collectively ensure to preserve the platform by ensuring that it constantly receives enough resources in the form of finances, knowledge, technical and cultural expertise, and assistance in ground initiatives including surveys, tastings, and other technical/ social / business activities.

We do not engage, organise or promote any illegal behaviour which may include sexual solicitation, human trafficking, and selling or facilitating the sale of prohibited or potentially dangerous goods and services, such as firearms, ammunition, drugs, and other state-controlled substances. These activities are blocked on our platform in all forms, whether physical or virtual and once noticed or reported, these activities may also be reported to local law enforcement agencies.

We do not encourage abusing our platform products and services, such as selling or purchasing or enabling access to unverified spaces/ properties from unknown owners/ partners or participating in fraudulent equity-based funding programs, multi-level networking schemes and other pyramid-based schemes.

We do not encourage the use of self-bots or user bots in the expansion of our virtual infrastructure. We ensure all our community registrations/ signups are associated with a human. Bots become a hurdle in our efforts of reaching out to the people who importantly need our services and goods.

We do not encourage misleading our support teams: We only respond to written reports/emails received from verified sources and delete or report false or malicious requests or reports. If multiple requests are received for a particular issue, activity, or content in subjection; the account may be reported before a final issue is accepted.

If you observe any activity that violates the above guidelines, or other policies at “Rising and Vibing for Environment” or its subsidiaries, please report it by filling out this form:  https://forms.gle/9FQftZYbMVRFo3Vw6

The guidelines are as per the latest global community safeguarding protocols, special considering our community deals with major stakeholders such as youth and adolescents. Our guidelines are evolving in nature. However, we are active to notice and take action against a specific user/ partner/ member- when we encounter a new threat or harm that is not explicitly covered in the current version of the guidelines list.

We will always ensure to notify every person in our ecosystem when we update these guidelines. We strongly feel it is the duty of every person actively participating in social activities ( online, offline or hybrid)  to keep our platform safe and a space for everyone to belong to, whether in small or big ways. Thanks for doing your part well and going through our guidelines.
